Apartments, co-ops and condos
Most Manhattan apartments are in buildings with contractor rules, and window cleaning starts with them. Buildings commonly ask for a Certificate of Insurance, sometimes with the building and its managing agent named as additional insured, and they set the days and hours when contractors may work and whether the service elevator has to be booked.

Brownstones and townhouses
Harlem, the Upper West Side, the Upper East Side, Chelsea and the West Village still have rows of brownstones and townhouses, with windows on every floor, front and back, and tall windows on the parlor floor. Many of them stand in historic districts, which matters for exterior work: the Landmarks Preservation Commission lets owners clean facade elements with low-pressure water washing without a permit, but most other exterior work needs one. High-rises and upper floors
The exterior glass of a tall building has to be reached from outside. We clean high-rise windows and exteriors with rope access, which reaches upper floors without scaffolding or sidewalk sheds and keeps disruption to the building low. Buildings higher than six stories also go through the City's facade inspection cycles, and we support them with cleaning and rope-access work coordinated with your inspector. Storefronts and offices
From Midtown lobbies to shops in SoHo and restaurants in the East Village, commercial glass gets dirty fast on Manhattan streets. We clean storefronts, offices and business facilities before opening, after closing or on weekends, usually monthly or quarterly.
