Houses
Bayside, Whitestone, Douglaston, Little Neck, Fresh Meadows, Howard Beach and much of eastern Queens are neighborhoods of houses: storm windows, bay windows, sliding doors onto the deck and windows on two or three floors. Co-ops, condos and garden apartments

These buildings have contractor rules: a Certificate of Insurance, sometimes additional insured status, and access booked through the super or management. Tell us the requirements in the estimate form, and the certificate goes to management before work begins.
Long Island City and high-rises
Long Island City and the Astoria waterfront have added residential and office towers with a lot of exterior glass. Upper floors are cleaned with rope access, which reaches the glass without scaffolding or sidewalk sheds. Buildings higher than six stories also go through the City's facade inspection cycles. Steinway Street and 30th Avenue in Astoria, 37th Avenue in Jackson Heights, Austin Street in Forest Hills, Main Street in Flushing, Bell Boulevard in Bayside: Queens shopping streets are lined with storefronts and restaurants.
