Two services for construction projects

Post-construction glass and surface cleaning

After new construction or renovation, we clean the glass inside and out, together with the frames and sills around it, so the space is ready for the final walkthrough, the buyer or the tenant. It's the last clean before turnover, and it's planned around your handover date.

Construction window and exterior washing

For construction and development projects, we wash windows and exteriors on active sites and on completed buildings ahead of turnover. Tell us which phase the project is in, and we'll plan the work around it.

What comes off the glass, and what doesn't

Glass on a new build or a renovated apartment usually carries a mix of construction dust, plaster and joint compound, paint specks and overspray, tape, labels and adhesive. At the estimate we look at what's on the glass and agree the scope before work starts.

Cleaning removes residue; it doesn't repair glass. If a pane was scratched or etched during construction, cleaning won't make the damage go away, so it's worth walking the glass with your team before the final clean.

Timing the final clean

The final window clean works best after the dusty work is finished: sanding, drywall, painting and flooring. Book it for the gap between the end of those trades and your walkthrough or handover. On larger projects, floors or units can be cleaned in phases as they're completed.

The estimate form asks when you need the work done. Give us your handover date, and we'll plan backwards from it.

Working on a construction site

Construction sites have their own rules, and we plan for them before the first visit:

  • Insurance. A Certificate of Insurance is issued before work begins. If the site needs the general contractor and the owner named as additional insured, workers' compensation or higher limits, select it in the estimate form and the team confirms it.
  • Access and schedule. Tell us about site hours, access and who we should coordinate with; the form has a field for the building or site contact.
  • Upper floors. Exterior glass above the lower floors is cleaned with rope access, without scaffolding or sidewalk sheds; see high-rise window cleaning.

Renovated homes and offices
